Newly called mission presidents and their wives, 110 couples, gathered in a large room in the Missionary Training Center on Sunday, June 24, for sacrament meeting. Though they had met on Saturday evening with the missionaries in the MTC who are assigned to their missions, this gathering marked the official start of the 2012 Seminar for New Mission Presidents, which concluded on Wednesday, June 27.

I think this recent public appearance and address puts paid to the rumour that President Monson had an Alzheimers problem.

I read though to the point where TSM addressedd them and do not see what you are refering to?

I'm merely saying that, if Monson was clearly fit and able to present lucidly to a group of New Mission Presidents then it seems like the case of his Alzheimers was...shall we say...overly stated.
