Re: Pure Worship by Lamanite Warrior
This one makes me a little sad. I would have much rather seen the great dancing accompanied by the original drums and vocals.

Makes the banal, ballad accompanying the other one sound a little puerile.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

So you prefer the Indians doing Pagan dancing to there Shaman spirits rather than to Jesus
sha·man
noun
(especially among certain tribal peoples) a person who acts as intermediary between the natural and supernatural worlds, using magic to cure illness, foretell the future, control spiritual forces, etc.
in other words familar spirits
fa-mil´yar: Is found as an adjective qualifying “friend” and “spirit.” (1) Used, in a number of Old Testament passages, of spirits which were supposed to come at the call of one who had power over them. אוֹב, ʼōbh, literally, something “hollow”; compare אוֹב, ʼōbh, “bottle” (Job 32:19 the King James Version); because the voice of the spirit might have been supposed to come from the one possessed, as from a bottle, or because of the hollow sound which characterized the utterance, as out of the ground (Isa 29:4); or, as some have conjectured, akin to אוּב, ʼūbh, “return” (νεκρόμαντις, nekrómantis). Probably called “familiar” because it was regarded as a servant (famulus), belonging to the family (familiaris), who might be summoned to do the commands of the one possessing it. The practice of consulting familiar spirits was forbidden by the Mosaic law (Lev 19:31; 20:6, 27; Dt 18:11). King Saul put this away early in his reign, but consulted the witch of Endor, who “had a familiar spirit” (1 Sam 28:3, 7, 8, 9; 1 Ch 10:13). King Manasseh fell into the same sin (2 Ki 21:6; 2 Ch 33:6); but Josiah put those who dealt with familiar spirits out of the land (2 Ki 23:24). It seems probable, however, that the practice prevailed more or less among the people till the exile (Isa 8:19; 19:3).
So you think the Worship of Jesus is childishly foolish; immature or trivial . You must be Mormon !

Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.

Mittens..... In case you haven't figured it out yet, almost NO ONE HERE is Mormon....
There are only a couple of us faithful Mormons. And no, Quasimodo isn't one of them.
Most here are ex-mormons or never Mormons, and a couple in-between. Then there are only like 3 or 4 of us that are LDS.
