Some highlights.
(All dollars are Canadian)
Tithing income for the year is $152,000,000
Total income for the year is $162,000,000
Total expenditure for the year is $224,000,000
Membership in Canada is claimed as being 185,149 (similar to the UK) across 477 congregations.
Tithing per congregation is $318,000 per annum (or $26,500 per month).
1 Canadian dollar = 0.6394 British pounds sterling
So that's about £17,000 per month per congregation in real money!
The average salary for a male in Canada looks to be around $33,000 after tax, so probably around $35,000 before taxation. Which would equate to $3,500 per annum if paying a full tithe on gross pay.
So the tithing income in Canada can be estimated as the equivalent to just over 43,000 members paying a full tithe (or 23% of the claimed membership). Or about 90 people per congregation out of an average of 388 members per congregation.

point? - aside from a primer in how not to provide valid estimates
(though i appreciate you finally posting a working link...and i failed to see any reference to "probably Temple income", so must just be a UK profit center, eh?)

You know how to check...or are you too weak minded intellectually or just plain lazy to do so....?
Anyway this thread is about Canada. If you want to comment on the published UK numbers do so on the UK thread.

ok, specific to this thread then.....is there a point you are posting? or is this link just for general consumption, and as you have so deftly illustrated - "make of it whatever you will"

some "highlights" in honor of people, such as yourself, who want to receive from the church but refuse to contribute (some have noted their attendance to church and their refusal to pay tithing - even to keep lights on):
total expenditures: $ 224,297,083
total revenues: $ 162,183,776
and this link for your own edification and for your future "calculations"

How many children, students, and stay at home moms do we have? I like to compare claimed membership with census data of self Identified LDS. Probably the most accurate.
