If God truly did flood the world and kill every living thing except Noah and his family and the animals of the Ark how many abortions do you think he committed that day?

He aborted everything. Do puppies and kittens count or just human fetuses?

How many people were alive when it happened? A few (4) million? Half are female. Maybe 1/4 of them are in their reproductive years. Let's say 10% were pregnant for funsies. I think that's like 50,000 abortions.

If someone can come up with a date and a better number of peeps on the earth we can redo the math.

He puts the world population in 2000 BC at 27 million. No word on how many pregnancies. I think 8 million would be close.

It's much easier to calculate backwards from 1830. The LDS faith was founded that year and there were approximately 1 (one) billion people on the earth at that time. What kind of population growth would be necessary for humanity to reach 1 billion in 1830 if the world population re-started with 8 aprox. 4300 years ago???? Even if Noah kept being productive (fertility wise) for 930 years?

none...there were likely several pregnancies terminated, but i would guess that zero abortions occurred.

No doubt Noah was a fertile and frisky guy up into his waning years (900's?). I can't help but be envious. Even given that, it's a stretch to think humans could pull it off. Rabbits or mice might make a billion in that period of time.

Gee, sub, I think you may be technically correct. As long as it was just double murders in the case of a few million pregnant women, I guess it's OK.

Kind of makes one wonder what all the fuss is over the holocaust. I don't think the Nazis were doing any abortions in the camps (unless Dr. Mengele and his colleagues were doing a few experiments). I believe they just pushed the pregnant gals straight into the showers.

I do think I heard that spontaneous abortions were common in the gas chambers, but we can't really blame the Nazis for that, can we.
