Dr. Peterson once told me that Submit, Comply and Obey were not the three LDS virtues. We are a people with the agency to be awake if we choose.

Responsible counter opinions are welcome.

The Buddha was awake and we Saints have the gift of the Holy Ghost, so we should be able to be awake +.

Maybe being awake is over-rated. How many people in the world (and history) had or have the opportunity?

Not many.

I think awakening has to do with the kundalini awakening. Obtaining the caduceus, eternal life, or enlightenment, otherwise known as moksha.

I look at being awake as pure discernment of truth, being aware of reality, and not being deceived. I don't believe in the gift of the Holy Ghost as an arbitrary right held by those with some kind of authority. It is based on the Mormon priesthood and I reject that.

I have had Holy Ghost experiences, but I have been unable to differentiate between them and the alchemy of kundalini, which has nothing to do with authority.

How would you contrast the Holy Ghost with what others call moksha?

I am already aware of the light of Christ vs the Holy Ghost via proper authority dogma, but it does not make sense to me.

Moksha is funnier and shows up more often...

Yeah I would say Moksha is rare. The way I see it is it is a big cosmic joke anyway. it is hilarious.

I have wondered if there are any Mormons that have attained Moksha. It is possible I suppose, but then what would be the purpose of being Mormon? Would one remain Mormon after obtaining liberation, to help others in the church? Kind of a bodhisattva deal? I don't think the church leaders are there.

My girlfriend's spirit guides say reincarnation and resurrection are both true. I would think resurrection would be mastery over this physical dimension and the ability to take up a body at will, like the legends of the Buddha and other spiritual masters.

What happens when God reveals things that the church leaders do not reveal, and wake you up to new realities that are not in the dogma? Who do you believe and what then?
