I am looking forward to faith lighting my path when I face my own inevitable dark night.

How about you?

Lighting is not necessary if the path exists.

Ludwigm, I think the dark night might involve some unknown terrain. Perhaps faith can serve as the GPS device?

As far as I remember, some new and superior Apple map application has describe a path can carry out only with bungee jumping with the car (highway crossing without connection, and moreover, near their own center).

For unknown terrain there is no GPS help.
Faith - in the forms I know - produces fake routes. (From Paris to New York You should swim a little...)

To be serious (Yes, I can do that - even without pictures).

For me, the dark night is death.

After death, there is no path.
All I can do for my wife, children, grandchildren, the family in general - and some people around who count -
- I should do it now. NOW.

All of I don't do in this life are lost. Beyond recall.
I act according to this categorical imperative.

by the way
I am 67. More than anybody of my parents and grandparents used to live. Biology and statistic, not Nostradamus.
Old enough to think about death.
