I know we have discussed whether Adam has a belly button..... Moving on to the next topic on the nature of resurrected, celestial beings. As all things of one's body are restored, does celestial Jesus have a foreskin?
My thinking: belly button no. Foreskin yes.

Belly button yes, foreskin yes.
Jesus was fully a human being. He would have been circumcised after 8 days and as a baby or young child (or even when he was crucified?!?), people would have immediately noticed if he didn't have to belly button. In fact, he could have used that as a proof he was God since everyone else in the world has one. Why would Mary need to be pregnant if Jesus weren't a fetus too? In fact, just have Jesus spontaneously pop out of the ground in that case much like a dwarf if he had such magical beginnings.

Belly buttons are scar tissue. The scar would have been healed in a resurrected being. Did he show you his belly button when he visited Tobin?

Are you saying we lose our belly buttons when we are resurrected?!? If that is the case, I suppose we'll have all our bits and pieces back. But that has little bearing on how Jesus appeared or existed when he was a mere human on this planet.

Did you read the title and op? Resurrected and celestial are in there a couple of times.

The resurrected Jesus bears the scars of the nails in His hands and feet and also where the sword pierced His side. Isn't this all that matters?

Doesn't all the wounds in resurrected Jesus contradict the scriptures about being made perfect, without a hair lost from our heads?

My guess would be yes to both. With regard to the belly button being a scar; Jesus is able to show the scars in His hands, feet, and side - even in His Resurrected body. It is quite possible that we will be able to manifest whatever is necessary whenever it is appropriate to do so.

I agree with the belly button being absent if the resurrected Christ is a perfect being...this would also mean no foreskin and no penis at all, nor a digestive system...why would a perfected being need to procreate? need to urinate? need to defecate?...would not the whole physical system be perfected?...without want and without waste?
i think your conclusion is too narrow and it lacks a sufficient assumption about what it is to have a "perfected body".
