History has always been replete with controversial questions–and perhaps always will be. Oftimes these questions afford interesting subjects for discussion. This appears to be especially true in so-called “Mormon History.”
One question which has provoked considerable discussion is: Who authored the beautiful and well-known hymn, “Praise to the Man”
Some things that are true are not very useful. Boyd K Packer
Why would anyone in The Church want to know the truth of who wrote this song? Eliza R. Snow Smith already has enough fame from the hymn O'My Father as well as having had Emma Smith push her down a flight of stairs.
For some odd reason the author of this hymn was changed. A Revelation maybe?
