Joseph Smith's First Vision - the latest

The MormonIntepretor has a review on a new book on the first vision. What has been of interest to me is the timing of joining of the Smith family members to the West Palmyra Presbyterian Church. The book that would have given that correct date has been missing since 1930 (Mormon church centenary).
Smith Snr refused to join because the preacher had sad his so, Alvin had gone to hell. Alvin died in 1823.
There was a revival then fitting Smith's description in 1823-24. It's interesting that in a footnote in RSR, Bushman (page 570) writes " All the circumstantial evidence notwithstanding for an 1820 membership, the date of Lucy Smith's engagement to Presbyterianism remains a matter of debate. It is possible to argue plausibly that she did not join until later Palmyra revivals in 1824"
Should the WP PC records ever be found should be interesting. Maybe they are in someones private collection or even in the HD church vault? The 1831 account, the Oliver Cowdery History in the Messanger and Advocate seem contradict the official account.
Hilary Clinton " I won the places that represent two-thirds of America's GDP.I won in places are optimistic diverse, dynamic, moving forward"
