On the FAIR Blog website, Steven Densley Jr., notes "that in Hebrew the word Jor-El means “God will uplift” and Kal-El means “voice of God.”

Well, that is proof enough for me that Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were inspired when they wrote about Superman and his unearthly origin. These two high school students were able to channel this work into Reformed Comics with the aid of the Pencil & Paper.

I haven't seen the latest movie yet, but I'm disturbed that the new Superman is not wearing the traditional red panties. What is the world coming to?
