How Do I Process This...

Post by _Craig Paxton »

I returned home exhausted this morning having stayed up in vigil all night at my mother’s bedside. Following her passing I was physically and emotionally drained. As is my nightly custom, I plugged in my equally exhausted iPhone hoping to give it a few hours to charge before I needed to wake up and head to work. And as far as I can reconstruct this is what happened next.

Right now there is a part of me that wants to believe that God has left writing on the wall that’s just for me…
I do not know how to process this….

Bluetooth? Did it (car's system) associate with your wife's phone?

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

No?..only my phone has been sync ed with my car... I just found the experience sweet yet as someone who lost belief in god, I'm perplexed coming up with a natural explanation

Having said that, the song was evidentially in my music library, but what are the odds that that song would automatically play from my music library when I hadn't played anything from my music library in for days? That is the question I'm having difficulty processing...

You and I don't see eye-to-eye, but I wish you the best during this time. And as far as processing this, I wouldn't try. Sometimes we should just simply embrace an experience, swim in it, rest in it, and drink it until it fills our soul

Is the file anyway on your phone, or set to stream from any site you visited recently that may have been open in the background?

My condolences.
Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.
