Over 4,500 members of the Church and their friends gathered in Los Angeles, California, Friday evening, June 27, for the annual Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium.
Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Joining him on the field was his wife, Sister Susan Bednar.
Elder Jerry Garns, an Area Seventy, caught the ceremonial first pitch.
Kirby Heyborne, popular LDS actor, musician and comedian, and Erik Christensen, Emmy Award-winning television and film editor, sang the National Anthem.
In pre-game events, Primary children were invited to “take the field” with the Dodgers players as they took their positions at the beginning of the game. Each child was then given a baseball, which the player had signed for him or her.
Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium is the longest-running community event held by the Dodger organization and has gone for over 30 years. It is also the largest special event held by them. The Dodgers have frequently expressed their appreciation for the long-standing relationship .

Hmmm, 4500 Mormon fans.
I guess Mormons must have gone off baseball since 2006 when 8000 fans attended. Our something like that.

Elder Rasband supervises the North America West Area, which includes Southern California. More that 8,000 Church members were among the crowd of 51,334 that saw the Padres win, 7-3. Elder Bedhair could not throw from the mound. Right hand/arm fatigue?
Oh my look how crowded the stands were that night. The Xtians must have had ANTI Mormon night on the same night?
by the way, the Dodgers lost the game attended by all those people of god's one true church® I guess god hates the Dodgers?
