Free Advice for New Mormon Leaders

You will find yourself in the midst of ethical dilemmas in the course of your service, so it is important to remember that even if you are the most doctrinaire-kind of Mormon, filtering your decision making through the lens of love will result in less internal recriminations in your later years, when your maturity finally kicks in and makes you into a kinder and gentler person than you are now. Being at peace with your past decisions will mean a lot at that time.

If you find yourself being a prick, then kick against it.

Now, if those in authority would just incorporate this into the setting apart of every leader we might see some positive changes.
