I know we are not supposed to either rock the boat or steady the ark, but it does seem to cheapen the meaning of the term commandment, when you have something like the biblical injunction not to kill being placed along side the number of permissible earrings. Maybe we need a separate category called, "Stated and Perceived Church Requests".

Prime among these requests is the unwritten understanding between the President of the LDS Church and the members that "Thou shalt have no other Prophet before me".
