Why Must There Be a God?
Don't say sunsets, and know that I am not an atheist. I just don't find your Superman God impressive.
As soon as you concern yourself with the 'good' and 'bad' of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weaken and defeat you. - O'Sensei

I'd feel completely empty without a God. What would there be to look forward to?

Maybe you have things backward. It sounds (from your statement) as though God is merely a construct that you have created to help you feel less empty. Maybe that's what all believers do.
Personally, I am happier admitting to myself that I don't know than I would be pretending that I did.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.
