They look like golden plates! Wow a parallel to the Book of Mormon! It must be true.....

The plate in the first photo looks like it contains a recipe for Tapir stew. I'm not sure because I lent my peep stone to a plumber friend so he could locate a blockage in a customer's sewer line.
