McKane, are you aware of when the Clovis culture appeared?

The Clovis theory has the same problem that haplo group x has no evidence that Clovis people ever stepped foot in Asia or Siberia. Clovis artifacts are found in Europe. But evidence showing in Siberia and Asia none existent

Unless, of course, one is well enough read in the subject area to understand that there are hundreds of peer reviewed papers linking the artifacts, DNA and language of the Amerindians that arrived in North America starting some 15,000 years ago (including the members of the Clovis culture) to populations in Siberia and elsewhere in eastern Asia.

Bomgeo must be referring here to the totally discredited Solutrean hypothesis. It's not even close. The European artifacts presented as evidence for this hypothesis are missing the fluting that is recognized as characteristic of Clovis points. Have a look at images of the two sets of artifacts. It takes about 5 seconds of side by side comparison to figure this out.

Again, if bomgeo were well enough read, he would understand (one would hope) that the Clovis point design was an early invention of the New World population, and therefore not found in contemporary archaeological sites in the Old World.

He must be aware, but odds are he won't write it down on this thread. If he did, both of the people in the known universe who would even consider his absolute nonsense would get a terrible shock.

What?! There are two MORE people in the universe who believe this nonsense?
Surely you jest.

You make a good point. Please note that I have edited my comment above, changing --'tend to believe'-- to --'would even consider'.

The Clovis culture is a prehistoric Paleo-Indian culture, named for distinct stone tools found in close association with Pleistocene fauna at Blackwater Locality No. 1 near Clovis, New Mexico, in the 1920s and 1930s. The Clovis culture appears around 11,500–11,000 uncal RCYBP[1] (uncalibrated radiocarbon years before present), at the end of the last glacial period, and is characterized by the manufacture of "Clovis points" and distinctive bone and ivory tools. Archaeologists' most precise determinations at present suggest that this radiocarbon age is equal to roughly 13,200 to 12,900 calendar years ago. Clovis people are considered to be the ancestors of most of the indigenous cultures of the Americas.[2][3][4]

+1

Solutrean artifacts are similar, but not exactly the same as Clovis artifacts. After all, there are only so many ways to shape a stone spear head.

To top it all of, there is this:

The DNA of a baby boy who was buried in Montana 12,600 years ago has been recovered, and it provides new indications of the ancient roots of today's American Indians and other native peoples of the Americas.
