The Lattice

Post by Valo »

What if God designed an adventure for us but not just for fun, even though it would have its thrills, it was designed to allow us worms to become like God in our capacity to have discipline and power which God obtained through respect and love and true discipline, not being overwhelmed by and overcoming the greed for power?

This game, this adventure, this goal, requires unknowns, amnesia, forgetfulness, weakness, and an evil force contrary to God's will. How else can one learn except through suffering through an experience?

This is a controlled environment. We will become worms again or ravens/eagles. But we will receive exactly what we deserve and desire, in the end. We can be worms for ever. It is a choice and it is where we came from. Or we can escape that realm and become more than just worms.

What a crappy game. Imagine a game where historically 60% of the players will die of disease before the age of 6. The remaining lucky 40% will, for the most part, live a brutal life of starvation, crippling diseases, slavery and a life expectancy of about 23 years.

God has to be the world’s worst game designer.

Why are you still playing the game then?

Everything you experience occurs inside your mind. Everything input gets converted in to a signal your mind interprets and your mind creates sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing.

You think this is the material world
Well, that's somebody's philosophical idea
You think it's spiritual

This real world is not spiritual
It is not material
The real world is simply
So could we look at things in that way
Without fixing labels and names and
Gradations and judgments on everything?

Richard Feynman wrote:The substance of the tree is carbon, where did that come from?
It comes from the air
It's carbon dioxide from the air
People look at trees and they think it comes out of the ground
That plants grow out of the ground
But if you ask, where the substance comes from?
You find out, where did it come from?
Trees come out of the air?
They surely come out of the ground
No, they come out of the air
No, they come out of the air

The carbon dioxide in the air goes into the tree and it changes it
Kicking out the oxygen
And then pushing the oxygen away from the carbon and leaving the carbon substance with water
Water comes out of the ground
Only it came out of the air, didn't it?
Came down from the sky
So most of it, almost all of the tree is out of the ground
I'm sorry, it's out of the air!
Now, of course I told you the oxygen and carbon stick together very tight
How is it that the tree is so smart to manage to take the carbon dioxide, which is the carbon oxygen nicely combined and undo that so easy?
Ah, life. Life has some mysterious quirks
No, the sun is shining
And it's the sunlight that comes down and locks this oxygen away from the carbon
So it takes sunlight to get the plant to work
And so the sun, all the time, is doing the work of separating the oxygen away from the carbon, the oxygen is some kind of terrible byproduct, which it spits back into the air and leaving the carbon and water and stuff to make the substance of the tree
And then when we take the substance in the tree, and stick it in the fireplace
It is the only oxygen made by these trees
And all the carbon would much prefer to be close together again
And once you've let the heat to get it started, it continues and makes an awful lot of activity while it's going back together again
And all this nice light and everything comes out and everything is being undone, you're going back to carbon and oxygen, back to carbon dioxide
And the light and the heat that's coming out. That's the light and heat of the sun that went in
The sun that went in

[Pre-Chorus]
So it's sort of stored sun that's coming out when you burn a log
So it's sort of stored sun that's coming out when you burn a log
Trees Comes Out of Air

Jordan Peterson wrote:It's like well, what can you do about that?
Well, the world is harsh
It's like
Should you criticize it?

Not till you put yourself together
You've got to bring everything you can to bear on the problem before you have any right to
Stand in judgment about being itself
And that's what these mass murderers do
That's what they're doing, that's what they’re acting out
They're saying “Well, I'm looking out in the world”
“I don't like people”
“They're full of flaws”
“They act badly”
“They’re a cancer on the face of the planet”
“It'd be better if they didn't exist at all”
“I don't like Being”
“It's too full of suffering”
“And evil”
“I'm the judge of this”
“I'm gonna make my goddamn case”
“And take them out”
And then it's more than that
It's like I'm gonna take them out
And I'm gonna do it
With the innocent first

Cause that's the thing you got to get about mass murderer types
They're not hunting down the guilty
That's too obvious
They’re hunting down the innocent
That's the best protest
Think about it
”Well, I don't want to think about it”
Well, that's for sure you bloody well don't want to think about it
But you better think about it
That's where you go when you take that
Criticism of Being approach
It's like you don't get to do that
Unless you want to end up there
It’s bad
So, what do you do instead?
Stop doing stupid things
Stop lying
Stop making things worse
Stop making yourself weak
Even in a day you'll see that you have choices in front of you and
Sometimes you don't know what to do
It's okay, you're ignorant
Maybe you make a mistake
Whatever
That's just ignorance
Malevolence is when
YOU KNOW what you shouldn't do
And you do it anyways
People do that all the time
And that's arrogance
That's ”I'll get away with it”
It's deceit
Cause you’re lying to yourself about whether
You should do this or not, you know you shouldn’t
And then it's resentment because
Well, it's like
I'm gonna do this bad thing because that will teach the people
That will teach God
To treat me this way
That's the terrible trinity
Deceit
Arrogance
Resentment
Chase those out of your life
