Charity started a thread on MAD on the benefits of starting polygamy again. The thread unraveled about the "proper role" for a woman. Here are some comments by Pahoran which are classic. And, since I can't respond on MAD, I'll make a quick response here, which I hope he'll take in kind. ;)
QUOTE(urroner @ Jan 16 2007, 04:13 PM) The Church is seriously considerly asking all sisters to not wear wrist watches any more. Why should they, there is a clock on the stove.
Congratulations. You are the first to give the correct answer to any of my four questions. The others are:
Q: Why did the woman cross the road? A: More importantly, what was she doing out of the kitchen in the first place?
Q: Why do brides wear white? A: To match the kitchen appliances.
Q: Why don't women need wristwatches? A: Because there's a perfectly good clock on the stove.
Q: Why don't women need to learn to drive? A: Because there's no road between the kitchen and the laundry.
(Backs away slowly... leaps into car with obscured number plates... drives off by all the side roads, with many false turns and doublings back to shake off pursuit, to a concealed airfield... boards a plane with false registration numbers... takes off for a destination that's so secret that not even the pilot knows until we are airborne under strict radio silence....)
Regards, Pahoran
Pahoran...I think you may be foiled. The pilot and the person in charge of air control are both.....women!
Oh my gosh yes, he has a sense of humor...you didn't know that? Sheesh. Even when he's being bad, the sense of humor shows. Or should I say especially when he's being bad?

I should know better than to interupt her when shes cleaning.
Ha Ha. Even though we disagree you still have a great sense of humor.
