I realize that you aren't attempting to make excuses (in fact, I said as much), and I agree that you have been able to post without flamming or personal animus. And, I can understand you being tired of being told those things you mentioned above, just as "TBM" and MA&D participants may be tired of all the disparaging comments stated here and there about them.
How about this as an idea (Beastie will like this idea): since we each have more credibility and pursuasive power with our own, that we make a proactive effort to pursuade our own to speak more respectfully about those on the other side?
To make this manageable, I suggest that for each of the threads on the first two pages of the MA&D that are devoted to "exmo's" or this board, that I post a suggestion on how to be more productive and respectful in interfaith dialogue (actually, I have already done this on the one thread that I could find there), and for each of the threads on the first two pages here that are devoted to "TBM's" or "MA&D", that you post a similar suggestion. If, as you suggest, the flamming and personal animus or overall disrespect here is comparable to MA&D, then it should be a breeze for you. ;-)
