The Church Is Not True...Gone?

Post by _cksalmon »

From their last two or so podcasts, I got the idea that Mike and Hyrum didn't like the idea of being activists against the LDS Church.

But, tonight, searching for their interview with Bob McCue, I found that www.thechurchisnottrue.com is apparently out of business.

What's up?

Did anyone archive the podcasts? If not, that's some valuable airspace lost to the void.

Curious.

Best.

Hyrum is off doing other things, so his website is no longer in service.

It was fun while it lasted.

If he or Nort are reading this, I miss you guys.

I hope your new adventure is working out Hyrum!

Quicktime Pro anyone...?

C'mon PP and Dr. Shades. You were guests.

Did no one archive this stuff?

My iPod is now refusing to talk to me. Thanks.

PS. Tal? Did you digitally archive your interview with Mike and Moriancumr? I should have built the digital library when I had the chance.

Darn that 30$ Quicktime Pro pricetag.

Kicking myself.

I have, at least, the following:

"Talking to Tal (part 1)"
"Talking to Tal (part 2)"
"Chatting with Packham (part 1)
"Mormon Belief and Reason" (Bob McCue episode part 1)
"Was Smith Trustworthy?" (Bob McCue episode part 2)

I don't know if these titles were original. In the back of my mind I seem to recall the names, as downloaded, were fairly meaningless, and I renamed them or something on my hard drive.

I may have some more episodes on my hard drive. I'll look around.

NOT-2006-01-09.mp3 (more McCue)

NOT-2005-12-03.mp3 (get some format error from Windows Media Player when I click this one)

NOT-2006-01-02.mp3 (no title shows up in Windows Media player)

NOT-2005-11-07.mp3 (no title shows up in Windows Media player)

I could have sworn I also had one where they went to the Beehive house and played mind games on some sister missionaries there. Maybe one of the ones without a title that I mentioned in my previous post was that one. I don't know, I didn't listen to it just now to see.

Oh, yeah. You're absolutely right about that. I think I was trying to make it less my fault.

Hey Sethbag--

Do you think I might be able to get those files from you somehow?

Best.
