What about you really loose guys, Schmo? Think you're gonna get all un-licked?

Anyway, in my recollection none of those in the lower kingdoms get to have heaven-sex and/or are resurrected sans genitalia. I think the standard answer is that they will be relegated to "ministering" to the happy souls in the three gated communities of the Celestial Kingdom (which alway put me mind of them being some sort of angelic "fluffers.")

LOL

Well, while we're making stuff up, sure... the boys will all be "un-licked." (Oh man, that made me laugh, Blixa. Great stuff!)

Who wants an un-licked boy? They don't know what they're doing! Well, they might still remember what works, even though they magically re-virginate. Un-licked but not unlearned...that might be alright.

Well, it doesn't take much knowledge to receive some licking, does it? It's a passive activity to just lie there and be licked, no?

As long as the guy knows not to make any sudden movements during the activity that could cause the female some sort of head injury, they both should be alright.

SatanWasSetUp wrote:Wow, it sounds like the Mormon afterlife is going to be a big wife swapping party. Maybe I need to get back to church;) This doesn't sound so bad after all. In the upper kingdom they will be passing out wives whose husbands weren't valiant enough. Meanwhile, the newly single husbands will be in the lower kingdom partying with the rebellious single chicks. Either way you can't lose, if you're a guy.

Well, there is the slight problem of losing sexual desire except in the Celestial Kingdom. Next best thing to castration I guess. If we taught it more that way would more people be desperate to join the Church to avoid losing.........critical functions.

You know what strikes me as odd... and perhaps it's just the demographics of this board (3:1 male to female ratio) is the emphasis on sexuality intertwined with religion. But perhaps the demographics doesn't explain it fully. Over on MAD there are many females that seem absolutely giddy at the possibility of polygamy.

Am I just a prude? I try to not think so... but somewhere in all this it just really creeps me out.

And to add to that thought... I wonder is it because so much is repressed (I'm just thinking of people I grew up with and what I know about LDS) that they want to think of heaven as some kinky wife swap?

I've lived a VERY healthy, exciting life with a great partner... and enjoy sexuality. But I don't need the promise of some great sex in the hereafter as a carrot. It's ookie!

**edited to add***Well now I feel bad that I typed that. But it does strike me as odd. The same people I see putting their nose up in the air for the way someone dresses or what kind of Mom they are but can't wait to get it on in heaven. It just makes me cringe.

I think what you can observe in the church today is the inherited and cumulative effect of Joe Smith's own sexual deviance.

I'm convinced there is a certain type of woman who finds polygamy attractive, just as there are women who find all sorts of alternative sexual partnerships appealing.

Polygamy, for women, means less sex, less intimacy, less being with a man; it means less interaction, less communication, and less physical connections and affection of any sort with one's husband. What sort of woman thinks this is great?

My observation is that there are those women who would rather hang out with women, than they would their husbands, who don't really care for intimacy or sex or the companionship of a man, and who just really don't much care for men in general.
Polygamy appeals to these women.

The way I see it, if a woman doesn't enjoy sex and doesn't really like men but wants to be in the CK, well I can see why polygamy might just be the ticket!
