More Treks for the kids?

Post by _SuperDell »

We know about the Handcart trek and how it is supposed to build character and put the kids in touch with the brave pioneers.

Why not a Jaredite trek? They can make submarines and sail along the coast?

Or the Nephite Trek, build boats and sail along the coast again?

Would be a great time for one and all and a money maker as they force all the girls and guys to rent BYU swimsuits for the trek.

The new Program to take the place of Scouting can do "submarine races of the Jaredites" to take the place of Pinewood Derby. Fill the Baptismal font or stock water tanks and set up a fan and blow the kids submarines across to the New World?

Actually the PSR's have decided by revelation given to Rusty at the Olive Garden, or it might have been at Chuck A Rama that God wants all his people to simulate a trek to the Temple during GC weekend in between Saturday afternoon sessions. The members each will don all white, babies to the elderly, and march from their ward houses in an all white trek. The members will march around the ward building 7 times then in the parking lot wave white handkerchiefs and give the hosanna shout 3times -then march back inside the chapel for a demo of what to wear during the temple sessions demonstrated by the bishop and RS president. The revelation was given to Rusty after a huge meal of baby rack ribs and sauerkraut-so thus saith the Lord-it shall be done!

Digging iron out of rock to molten, with bare hands. Slaying of beasts and tanning hides to make bellows. Massive deforestation projects to make charcoal for the ironworks. The fun never ends!
