Joe said that Zelph was known from the East to the Rockies
He must have had a plane to fly all the way down to Belize
'Cause now we know from those apologists who say
It happened there in Mesoamerica back in the day

Zelph, he was a man who traveled wide
With the prophet Onendagus by his side
On tapirs, into battle they would ride
Now, indeed, you see, Zelph is he

I don't know, why don't anti-Mormons believe Joseph Smith when he spoke of Book of Mormon events mostly occurring in Central/South America?
You conveniently IGNORE those facts from your strawman.

Nobody's denied that "some" things possibly occurred in North America, the question is we don't really know "what" parts did, save the "wandering" that ultimately deposited the plates in North America.
We are only stating what is currently "probable" according to the facts and evidence available.

MONEY, plain and simple.

Who would take a Book of Mormon tour to Cleveland?

Much better to hit the beaches and Jungle ruins in Central America.

Oh, good. I'm glad you (and whomever else you were thinking when you said "we") only say what is currently probable according to facts and evidence. (Too bad Joseph Smith didn't use those weasel words when he said, when in Illinois, that the Nephites, Lamanites, etc. were "the ancient inhabitants of this country", that "the great prophet Onandagus, who was known from the Hill Cumorah, or eastern sea to the Rocky mountains."
"The whole of our journey [Kirtland,Ohio through Indiana and then across Illinois at that point], ...wandering over the plains of the Nephites, recounting occasionaly the history of the Book of Mormon, roving over the mounds of that once beloved people of the Lord, picking up their skulls & their bones, as a proof of its divine authenticity... .")

Let's stick to facts and evidence, because obviously what Joseph Smith considered proof in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois--which he said is where the Nephites and Lamanits inhabited and were "the plains of the Nephites"--must be something different than the "facts and evidence" to which you now allude.

Which facts and evidence make the Book of Mormon probable?

Which facts and evidence make the Book of Abraham probable?

Inquiring minds want to know. I wait with bated breath for you to expound with the facts and evidence.
