He does? Interesting. I've only read about him re his Wikipedia issues, but after reading your comment, I eent back and read his disqus comments. For a 'sweet spirit,' he has a lot of really brutal things to say.

It’s hard to imagine being in a place so beautiful and writing such ugly things. That’s not what most happy people do, in my experience.

I truly hope the Afore can find another cat/dog (or even a dolphin) to torture while he’s in Hawaii. That seems like one of the only sure-fire ways to make him happy,

I wonder if you noticed his follow-up post, Everybody Wang Chung, where he went on at length about how he cried after shooting and killing a rabbit as a child? And how he likes whales so much? And dislikes hunting?

On the one hand: sure. I don't doubt that these sentiments are true. But the fact remains that, per someone sympathetic to him, he "water-bombed" a cat in Israel. I would be a lot more impressed if he expressed regret for torturing the poor animal in that way, but I'm willing to bet that he's conveniently "forgotten" that he ever did such a thing. I guess that, when cruelty towards others becomes such a commonplace and casual thing, you're bound to either forget some of it, or to cease recognizing that such things are, in fact, cruel.

In any case, it would appear that he is reeling from our criticisms of him, since he has completely "ghosted" his faithful and obedient followers in the "Comments" section. He is, I'm sure, doing his best to try and ignore us and to focus on enjoying his vacation. I will simply reiterate what I've said already: "Exit stage left!"

Speaking of critical thinking, Dr. Dan doesn't know the difference between molten stones clear as glass created through the mental then physical exertion of a Prophet (called faith) then by faith touched by the finger of The Lord when calling upon Him for a blessing, and then allowed to enter into his presence, similar to the new Temple going up in Dr. Dan's backyard.

Versus a gastrolith or a dinosaur gizzard stone, used to allegedly translate the keystone of our religion. With Joseph Smith "talking through his hat." D&C 17:1.

Dr. Dan and his buddy in F.A.R.M.S., Jack Welch, being the grifters that they are, next Moroni Marketing Day during its dog and pony show, should ask for more of other people's money to erect a Monument on Temple Square for the Unknown Dinosaur that donated a gizzard stone for the translation of The Book of Mormon.

Get your gizzard stone and use your face in hat translation to talk through your hat for 65 days staring at a rock and don't get cross-eyed!

Dr. Dan should also take a class on English Idioms. Then Dr. Dan will understand what "talking through your hat," actually means.
Then Dr. Dan can go into politics and declare in the Oval Office, "we're not playing cards," when told he doesn't "have a card to deal," in the art of the deal.

This is because Dr. Dan's total contribution to LDS Scholarship is a Gastrolith and Moroni walking between Two Cumorahs with the plates and the Nephite Interpreters which the Prophet Joseph Smith later didn't need, because he already had a gizzard stone and a hat to talk through.

It's a good thing Afore tortured the cat in Israel. In Utah, Afore's actions would have clearly violated the Animal Cruelty Act and probably would have sent him to jail and an order for mandatory psychiatric/psychological counseling.

It is a violation of Utah Code 76-9-301 to intentionally or knowingly cause or inflict physical pain to a domestic cat or dog. Upon conviction, the court may in its discretion, in addition to jail and fines:
(a) order the defendant to be evaluated to determine the need for psychiatric or psychological counseling, to receive counseling as the court determines to be appropriate, and to pay the costs of the evaluation and counseling;
(b) order the defendant to no longer possess or retain custody of any animal, as specified by the court;

Here is a very interesting article that shows there is a very strong correlation between individuals who harm animals and sociopathic behavior. Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Richard Ramirez—as well as countless other serial killers, murderers, and rapists—all abused animals and that behavior escalated into harming humans.
