Daniel McClellan has an interesting 3 minute video explaining that scholarly consensus supports the view that THC was used in Israelite temple ceremonies, and probably helped facilitate the otherworldly experiences of the High Priest (pun intended).

The Book of Mormon states that Nephi embarked on the construction of a temple after the manner of Solomon’s temple, as stated in 2 Nephi 5:16. If the Nephite temple was really created after the manner of Solomon's temple, then we can assume that large quantities of THC/marijuana were also used in the Nephite temple to help facilitate the otherworldly experience.
I don't know about you, but I would like to hear more about this at General Conference.

If Joseph Smith had not known about this practice, then it would not have been included in his story.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 1:33 amI don't know about you, but I would like to hear more about this at General Conference.

It would definitely motivate many people to activity in the LDS Church if they included THIS in the "Restoration of All Things"!
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Kish introduced me to a gent Alex Criddle by name who is a scholar of entheogens. I will ask him if he wants to do a research paper with me on this angle. I suspect ALL ancient temples used entheogens.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 1:33 amDaniel McClellan has an interesting 3 minute video explaining that scholarly consensus supports the view that THC was used in Israelite temple ceremonies, and probably helped facilitate the otherworldly experiences of the High Priest (pun intended).

Since it was had and done anciently, it HAS to be a part of an actual restoration for it to be verifiably authentic. Ironic isn't it?!

Three men who wander the Earth bringing entheogens.
