A Sweary Take on the Death of Joseph Smith

Post by malkie »

I expect that several board members are already aware of historian James Fell, and his history books full of salty language: On This Day in History Sh!t Went Down. You may also know about his Facebook page.

The Facebook entry for 27 June is about Joseph's untimely death. It's pretty much straight fact, in my opinion, with the only embellishments being in James' application of his informal and sweary style of rhetoric.

On This Day in History Sh!t Went Down: June 27, 1844

Lots of interesting comments for your enjoyment.

Fell had me at "You know the young fellas in short-sleeved white shirts and fancy ties who want to save your hungover soul early on a Saturday morning? The guy who started that religion died in a, shall we say, interesting way."
