The Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist and grandson of Ezra Taft Benson has passed away. I have always enjoyed his cartoons, and I used to follow Steve on exmormon dot org.
RIP, brother Benson.

“I will forever remember Steve for his giant heart, his unending kindness, his creativity, his piercing sense of humor and his moral certainty in the face of injustice.”
Despite what Steve’s nasty mopologetic detractors have to say, this is what actually matters. He had it where it counts.

Re: Steve Benson has passed away
I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great artist in his genre and had a wicked sense of humor, something I love.

I used to read his cartoons years ago when he published with the SL Tribune.
Rest in peace.

People that really knew him loved him dearly. I can't think of any better compliment.drumdude wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 6:38 am“I will forever remember Steve for his giant heart, his unending kindness, his creativity, his piercing sense of humor and his moral certainty in the face of injustice.”
