He believes that HIS religion is exempt from criticism.

Would you feel good about participating anonymously on a board to mock the Jews in your town -- their personalities, their professions, their practices?
Would you feel good about anonymously mocking the liturgy of the Methodist Episcopal Church?
God will not be mocked.

Well, where to start...I would agree that there are individuals on this board who mock Mormons and/or the LDS Church. Most of those persons are former members of your church and if anyone has a right to criticize or even mock the church or it's members, it is them based on their real life experiences. To say that this board exists primarily for that purpose is irrational on your part. If you were interested in serious discussion without the mocking that you dislike, why aren't you confining your participation to the Celestial Forum that was created for just that purpose?
Sorry, bud, but when you yourself choose to participate in minimally moderated forums, and then complain about what you find there, I just can't take that seriously.
Of course, the Savior limited his interaction to only the holy and thereby successfully avoided mockery of any sort throughout his life. I can see why you'd want to follow that example.

I don't complain. I mock the mockers, the ignorant cowardly folks who post anonymous drive-by hit pieces against faithful members of the Church, and justify themselves with the belief that the Internet exists to accomodate anonymous posts. Posters who are no better than hit-and-run drivers who self-justify their conduct.
You are cowards. You come here to self-congratulate yourselves for your superior wisdom in seeing the folly of Mormonism, yet you can't bring yourselves to identify yourselves.
Rant over. Carry on.

I see this forum as a place to discuss Mormonism. It is not slanted one way or the other; open to all.
While there is some mocking and negativity, there are also defenders and apologists.
I personally wish there were more so discussion could be more expansive, nevertheless, I do not think the board was designed for mocking.
I think we can make the board what we wish it to be... depending on how we each participate, we can bring a positive atmosphere or a negative one. It is basically up to the participants.
Does anyone here have the personal integrity to admit that whether this site is intended to mock the Church or not, whatever mocking of the Church that does occur here, may reasonably be considered as religious prejudice or bigotry?
Wade, you shouldn't speak about something you don't have.
In your eyes, anything that does anything other than give you spiritual indigestion is an attack.
One can disagree with the church, most of us live in a free country.
I believe the general purpose of this board was to provide a place where people with minds they wanted to use could use them, outside the restrictions of FAIR.
