I think they didn't know who he was, until he uncloaked here a couple of days ago. Once they knew, the clock was ticking.

I thought being banned without warning was weird as well, but it seems to be regular practice over there.

Yeah, I got banned too (zippy). What the hell? I have no idea what my offense was. I had no idea I was on anybody's radar. Maybe it was because I questioned the legality of their copyright assignment policy a couple weeks ago? Who knows.

I was banned under the moniker cornholio a few months ago, without having posted even once (under the assumption I was a sock puppet, I think).

If you were cornholio, I think they thought you were someone else, vegasrefugee to be exact. He sometimes posts as Dr Cornholio or something like that.

They are on a tear over there, aren't they? No doubt you got chopped because of your copywrite comments. (They don't like their supposed power questioned, even when the questioner is a lawyer who might keep them out of legal trouble, if they paid heed).

Makes no sense to me, either. I'm trying to figure out which of my 24 posts was so horrible that I merited a banning in the middle of the night.
