Within the last few days on the Doug Wright radio program (SLC) the man in charge of monitoring Utah's snowpack level came on and pretty much debunked the environmentalist notions on global warming. Locally, the Utah snowpack has not changed much since the 1930's (earliest accurate data including photographs) and in fact over the last few years the snowpack has been melting an average of 3 to 5 days later than normal.
Worldwide, when it was seen that glaciers were beginning to melt faster than normal about a decade ago the primary suspect was 'the ring of fire' (volcanic activity and crustal warming related to plate tectonics). Turned out to be largely the case. El Nino was also mentioned. Apparently, while there is a modest increase in temperature, the human effect, if it exists, is not measurable.
He also mentioned the geologic fact that the earth is currently in an ice age and that most of the time, the earth doesn't even have ice caps (an indirect proof of evolution by the way).
And then there is the little embarrasment in the National Geogrphic news...Mars is warming too! Could it be because of the various human built space probes that orbit and have landed there? lol

Is Satan the author of the Global Warming lie?
A misnomer as the real question is the human effect. But, playing along, yes, Satan is the author of all lies. Environmentalists are simply another way for Satan to impose his plan on us by taking away our agency by forcing us to implement environmentalist solutions which usually involve a form of Socialism which is contrary to Christianity.
