Please, would a sane person read the comment I supplied and note that Juliann said she read a thread in the CF and it had "bawdy" references about Jesus and sexual organs (oh no! Not those!) and NOW she's ONLY reading here in the Terrestrial and it's "disgusting".

All of this is very obviously an attempt by DCP, juliann, and et. al. to exact revenge upon us. Have you seen a serious response by any of them to our best criticism? For example, has DCP responded to our reading of his "Witchcraft Paradigm"? Has juliann, or Dan_G, or any of them provided an adequate defense of the ridiculous moderation policies, which both Dr. Shades and myself have catalogued in rather exhausting detail?

No. They have not. This is a clear sign that the powers-that-be at MAD are in major-league "panic mode." With every post such as the above, they signal that the fittingly named MADboard is on the verge of self-destructing.

They did a lot of advertising here and the management here encourages people who don't like to be forced to engage in civil discussions to go there. Like...pullleezzee go there. I'm betting that is why they let board wars go on occasionally. Go! There is a place for everyone. The problem we have is when the people who consider free speech the right to say whatever you want in any manner you want won't go where that is appreciated. That is another thing I don't understand. It is clear that they are incensed that they can't use this board in the same manner...and they feel very cheated. They claim that their board is ever so much better than this one but they can't stop yearning over this one.

Oh the irony!

I wonder if she really sees things this way. If so, I really don't know what to say. Maybe we just see what we want to see, and she sees the worst in us. I hope that's not the case.
