The war chest is stocked and ready to roll. Can he beat the left though? I doubt it. Hillary has raised 1/3 more funds, a considerable difference.
So, will romney get the GOP nomination now? I think its likely. Not only that, but when he loses, will the wolves turn to his Mormonism as a reason for their failure? Will the Hawk Neocons last breath be a whimper from romney as he gives his concession speech? I sure hope so.

I sure hope he wins, just to tork you off if nothing else. FYI, I gave him $25 an plan to give him more. Regardless of his religous beliefs in my opinion he is the best candidate out there and hast the best chance to win for a republican.

Sure, he's raising money now, but, as has been pointed out, once all the different beliefs of mormonsim come to light, people will probably think twice.
Personally, I like Fred Thompson, and Duncan Hunter.

Oh I am sure the LDS Church is giving him millions.......
I doubt the Church Leaders are that stupid - Arrogant and hubris yes, but not stupid.
I suspect a large percentage of his donations did come from eager Mormon donors..
So how long the money lasts will be interesting.
I would only ever vote for an atheist, or maybe an agnostic. It'd be nice to have someone more rational in the White House for once. Unfortunately, it's political suicide to admit you're an evidence based thinker (a.k.a. atheist).
Call me crazy, but I have a thing against adults who believe in pretend playmates for the sake of personal comfort. That's what we've got now, and we all know how much that's sucked.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

If she did get elected, it would be four more years of screeching and nagging from Republicans who bear her such irrational hatred. The country is divided enough as it is. Obama would be better maybe. Or the governor of New Mexico.
Hey, it would only be fair, after having to listen to eight years of the screeching, nagging and irrational hatred directed at Pres. Bush. I'd say turnaround is fair-play.
Whatever. People hate Bush for many good reasons. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for the first eight months until he took a hardline stance against stem cell research in August of his first year. Then he squandered world-wide sympathy over 9-11 by invading Iraq. Now we're going on five years of war. At this date, you can't seriously call Bush-hate 'irrational'.
To be honest, I don't even really know what Romney stands for. I know he sounded like a very liberal Massachusetts Republican (ie: Democrat anywhere else in the country except maybe New York and California) when he ran against Kennedy. Now it sounds like he's trying to parrot James Dobson or something. He's such a flip-flopper I literally don't know what it is that he actually believes.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

The scary thing about Romney, at least based on the apologetics coming from Dan Peterson, is that Romney arrived at his current positions because he thought long and hard about the issues. His moral compass is out of whack if he thinks a human blastocyst in a dish has more right to live than a person with parkinson's disease. I would almost prefer to hear that he flip-flopped because of political expediency. Then at least there's a good chance he would flip back instead of blindly staying the course set by his private morality (like Bush).
I'm just cynical enough to look at Romney's flip-flopping right before a Presidential bid and have my BS meter totally pegged when the reason given is that he finally got around to thinking long and hard about things. So far, until otherwise convinced, I'm going with political expediency.
