Male LDS.

Male TBM, fairly TBM, TBM wanna be

Female TBM, fairly TBM, TBM wanna be

Male no longer believes whether active or inactive

Female no longer believes whether active or inactive

Never Mo or Never WoMo

Now if TBMs don't want to be lumped into the category of TBM or TBM but with an issue or two, Well, what's a girl to do? This isn't meant to be a comprehensive poll. I posted the poll to see if there would be enough female board participants to make starting another thread on a different subject worthwhile.

FYI for your poll numbers; You offered no regular TBM option. The only one even close to TBM you offered was this: "Female/Male- LDS, wouldn't consider myself a non-believer, an issue or two perhaps"

This implies a rather non-commital sort of allegience to the church, so I, as a devout LDS female did not vote.

I think he/she means you're one of the following: LDS, partly LDS, or LDS with a couple issues - In other words, on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the 'ultimate TBM', this choice includes 7 through 10.

That's how i read it.

I had to think about this because although I was born in the church and was baptized at the age of eight, I never voluntarily believed. It's not accurate to call me a Mormon when the religion was forced upon me, really, so just because the church may consider baptism constituting membership, I don't really consider a person a member unless they really embrace it.

I'm amazed there are adults that actually believe this stuff when I knew it was bogus as a kid. I can't help but wonder how many adults are just saying they believe it, for whatever reason (family, etc).
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

I often feel the same way about American citizenship.

I hope you’re up for a gruesome game of shuffleboard (I would take it easy on you, but I’m trying to impress Thelba and Gretchen. Also, I hope you don’t mind if I ignore you a bit while I flirt it up at the soft-serve ice-cream machine).

Sorry, Blixa, but I have absolutely NO IDEA how your response ties in to Dr. Steuss's comment in ANY WAY.

Will you please enlighten me?
