What worries me is you probably have a point of reference in order to make the comparison.

Kinky.

There are no great Mormon female intellectuals. Those who even rise to the ranks within the Cult are still kept in check by the males.

Besides, Packer said that intellectuals are a threat to the Cult. So down with Mormon intellectuals.

As soon as a so-called "intellectual" within the Cult of Mormonism steps the line, they are tossed out. As long as they tow the party line, they are revered.

Wheres the women here, and where is my sammich.

What about ex-Mormon female intellectuals? Would Fawn Brodie qualify? Juanita Brooks? Meg Toscano? Sonia Johnson?

John Logie Beard. But the TV wasn't invented by him alone, it was invented by a few people. I learned this from a talk I went to on Tuesday called "Morse to the Internet" from the IOP.

Well... "ex" in the sense that she definitely would fall outside the purview of women outlined in Infymus's post. Apparently, according to some of her fellow parishioners, she may as well havel been a full-blown apostate.

Perhaps the Sermon on the Mount?

Don't feel too bad. This wasn't nearly as vulgar as it was simply vacuous.

But you should feel bad about being intellectually vacuous as well as boorish.
