His work is very important, and for the first time up to right now, I have had my Book of Mormon shelf break totally. But seriously, Smith's translation of Jesus's Sermon on the Mount regarding a final payment follows Nephite coinage perfectly and is spot on:

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence until thou hast paid the uttermost senine. And while ye are in prison can ye pay even one senine?

Smith was smart enough not to introduce the "farthing" as it reads in the KJV because obviously the Nephites would not have known about the Jewish money system used on the other side of the world so "senine" was given to the Nephites. Smith was also smart enough not to introduce the English penny because they wouldn't have known that either. He wanted the story to seem authentic and match their monetary system.

But when it came to the letters of Alpha & Omega we clearly see that Smith screwed up and the Greek crept into the text as proof that we are not reading ancient history. That one went over Smith's head.

I'm afraid that the Alpha & Omega came back to bite Smith on the ass!

Thank you to all who showed up and gave Dr. Lundwall some good support, you know who you are! It was a superb show with great information, and a fabulous rant and challenge of Lundwall to and for the brethren, as well as the apologists. In my opinion, this one is a must see video thanks to Lundwall's expertise. I will never see the Book of Mormon the same again. This entirely breaks my shelf on the Book of Mormon.
