But I will say, in my opinion, Peterson fired a cheap shot and I think it's totally based on sour grapes harvested from the trees of Jacob 5. Surely he knows the quality of my work regarding the Book of Abraham is hardly low caliber stuff produced by a buffoon. I've studied the Book of Abraham and Egyptology for many years and feel my grasp on the subject is top notch. I don't see how Peterson can disregard my Celestial threads which offer an excellent perspective in showing how the Book of Abraham is nothing short of a total fraud.

Quite nasty, no? Does it rise to the cruelty of him torturing a cat via a "water-bombing," as reported by one of his co-travelers during a youthful excursion to Israel? (The same one where he mocked the Jewish wedding ceremony?) You will have to be the judge of that. But it seems quite remarkable that even vacationing seems to inspire rotten behavior in him.

I completely forgot about that very disturbing incident when the Afore inflicted abuse and physical pain on a cat. He clearly delighted and basked in the joy the distress and harm he caused that poor animal. What a great guy.

The sheer number of the Afore’s unethical acts, misogyny, lies, plagiarism and foolishness is just mind boggling. What a legacy!

Maybe he was inspired by Joseph F Smith.

Last evening we were aroused from our sleep by the suden pitiful yawlings of a cat that had evidenly become ensnared by her own Trappings. This morning we took old ?Tabby? and after pronouncing her guilty of attempted manslaughter and chicken murder; she was sentenced to be hung!** We called in her friends; they took the last lingering look at her, + returned, then we proceeded to the gibit to exicute the manicled culprit.

I hope that the alleged sources that Dan offers now are better than they once were. Bill Hamblin and I had great fun at his expense many years ago when he and Brent Metcalfe claimed Immanuel Kant as a source for the Book of Abraham's astronomical ideas. I'll have to track down our response to him on that point.

I've had great fun at John Gee's expense for many years questioning the source in which Joseph Smith determined that a king's name is given in the characters above his head in Facsimile No. 3. What is the name of the king within the hieroglyphic writing and where is the royal Cartouche to signify a royal name? And show me the name "Shulem" which is said to be represented by the characters above his hand.

Clearly, and without question, Joseph Smith made a complete buffoon of himself in pretending to decipher the writing. But what's worse are the fools that believe him, such as Dan Peterson and John Gee -- a pair of nuts.

F-off, Dan, and the Book of Mormon horse you rode in on. You think like a child. Your loyalty to the church has retarded your brain. Time to snap out of it and grow up!

Yes, maybe! And why aren't the Mopologists doing more to circulate this story? It's important that people get "the whole story"--such as this above tidbit about Joseph F. Smith--rather than one-sided caricatures! Interpreter should be working overtime to ensure that people learn the truth about what happened to poor old "Tabby." I mean, it's either that or American Primeval!

Meanwhile, I can't help but noting in passing that it's hilarious how quickly they pivoted from panicking about the Hugh Grant film Heretic to American Primeval. I still haven't seen Heretic, but I hear that Grant does an absolutely hilarious, spot-on impression of Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley. I can't wait to check it out!
