Ask me again what my family and I have endured for this church.
Obviously you have not endured to the end.
I"m not dead yet, so obviously I'm still enduring.
Your posts give more comfort to the enemy than anybody else on this board.
Whose enemy? Yours? DCP's? Certainly not God's. Heck, I'm not even the church's enemy; I just want them to tell the unvarnished truth, to be what they could be, to open the books, so there's never any whiff of scandel or deceit. As it is, it's looks like the leaders are hiding something (or several billion somethings).
You are an effective writer and spinner of anecdotes.
Thank you. I'm sure that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me, and I'm sure you wish you could take it back now.
You have the time to counter the truth whenever it shows its head.
Well, since I've rarely seen the truth here, and I'm not allowed elsewhere for having told the truth, I suspect truth will just have to do his best without my help.
If you had substantive knowledge of the Gospel (I was amused to see you really think that Whitmer's An Address to All Believers in Christ was really an address given someplace) you'd be even more deadly to the building of the Kingdom.
Count your blessings. I'm learning more every day.
As it is, we are feted with temple content from you (which you carefully couch as questions, rather than statements),
And we both know why (I hate the secrecy and see no reason for it).
challenges to the integrity of the brethren at every turn (every one of them are liars and deceivers),
With rare exceptions, I find all men like that. Why should I cut them slack, when I see no reason to?
And, while the lurker pauses and questions, you throw in the repeated refrain that your temple recommend is every bit as good as your challenger, and that who knows, you might be sitting in the temple across the aisle from your challenger. Oh yes, the challenge: Who are you to judge me? My stake president and bishop know me.
Well, if I'm challenging, answer the questions, whatever they may be. I don't ask much, Plu. I just want the leaders to tell the unvarnished truth, open the books, and be what they're supposed to be. I'm sorry you think that's too much to ask.
Quite effective.
thanks.
And why do you do it? One of the oldest sins in the Book. Vanity.
