However, just to show there are other answers, try 'A lesbian is a woman who finds that she does not fall in love with a man, but with another woman. If both women feel the same way, they can get married and spend their lives together like most women do with men.'

Thank you, Chap. The young girl's words were being sullied by WD/whoever's increasingly inappropriate interpretations, (ETA: and now his Schryver-esque attempt to downplay his indecencies!), and you've brought them back to light:

Regarding [deleted]. Hey, first of all, I am quite a fan of "[deleted]" myself, so that isn't meant as an insult. Me and lesbians have quite a few things in common. I might very well be a lesbian in a man's body. My point is simply to invoke a visual image. Sex, like it or not, leads to such questions and imagery. Simple questions like "what is a lesbian" results in a lot of awkwardness for Mormon parents. Their heads start to explode just like yours did in this thread.
We'll just lock this one in case he pulls his usual stunt of claiming people are lying about his words. If he'd only cop to using the c-word he might actually make some progress, but I doubt that'll ever happen...

We don't have this problem in our church. Testimonies are to give glory to God and not as a soapbox for one's opinion. Believers don't thank God for creating them sinful --- which He did not! Believers thank God for His salvation from sin which we inherited from Adam through the Fall. All forms of dysfunction are the direct and indirect result of sin and not a blessing from God.
