Maybe he should spell it "piqued" just for kicks.

By the way, why doesn't my sig line bother you?

Whew. I half expected you to change it to:

peAked

just to enjoy bugging me. (but that's projecting Gad onto you, whom I still miss)

Our trials make us sor.

I think I was distracted by the foreign lettering...

actually, part of why Bond's sig line got my attention is when I first read it, I actually read "peaked", and I just didn't get the joke. It took me a minute to realize it was "peeked". I thought he meant, you know, like "reaching the high point"... ha.

I don't get yours, either. Sore? Soar? Sorry? Or were you trying to make us guess?

Well, if you, say, hit my blog (back when I had one), I would see your IP address, your service provider (which would be your place of employment if you logged on at work), your physical location, how long you stayed, which pages you hit, where you were before you came to my blog, where you went afterward, your internet browser, your screen settings, your operating system (and I'm sure I'm leaving some things out).

And that was just using a free piece of software for monitoring blogs.

It is both sore and soar. The story behind it is this:

When I was on my mission, I wrote back home about how hard it was for me. One of my friends wrote back that I shouldn't worry too much because our trials make us sore. She meant "soar", but I felt more inclined to agree with what she actually wrote instead of what she meant. It really lifted my spirits because of how ironic this chance misspelled word was. She is dyslexic.

The location is not always accurate though.

If you log on from work, sometimes it will give the location of the main company server.

For example, if you work for microsoft at an office in Salt Lake, the IP location information may show up as redmond, washington.

Plus, the location is not very specific - usually just the city.

Yes, that is true. But it can be a little unnerving to some people when the IP location gives the correct location.
