A Mormon, yes. Romney though is another question.

If Romney were not a Mormon my guess is he would be leading the REpublican pack right now.

Possibly. But keep in mind that dislike of a cantidate based on his religion is a valid state of dislike, as I have substantiated with the muslim extremist situation. Mormons do not make good presidential cantidates because Mormonism is a marginalized, bigotry infused culture.

Mormonism is a dual leveled problem. Theres Mormon religion and then theres Mormon culture.

Romney is tied at the hip to Mormonism. No getting around that. The fact that romney is being so dodgy and evasive when it comes to questions of his (weird) faith is evidence that he feels the same way. Mormons have no place in American culture, therefore they have developed a twisted analog of American culture.

No you did not. I pointed out why your example is not valid.

The Mormon Church is viewed as quintessentially an American Church and this is part of America Culture.
