John, your defensive army’s arguments are getting weaker and weaker. The new members don’t know much and there’s been a lot of attrition.

Get it done. Better late than never. Maybe once you’re through the stress of Thrive day.

Again, be honest. You can make public statements saying the claims are baseless, but public statements are easy. Proof isn’t.

Over the past few years we have noticed that every 6 months or so a few members of the community will launch baseless attacks on either individual podcasters or on the Open Stories Foundation – usually with the intent to smear reputations or undermine confidence in Open Stories Foundation operations. When this happens, we are always caught between: 1) not wanting to give attention to false allegations, and 2) wanting to defend ourselves. We have consistently found that trying to decide how to respond to these baseless allegations often consumes an incredible amount of time and energy in ways that do not contribute to the mission of the Open Stories Foundation, and that lead to staff and board burnout. Consequently, going forward it will be our policy to not respond to baseless allegations. Instead, this letter will be provided in response to such attacks.

J'accuse Rosebud. Show us your finances! You are an agent of cojcolds. Your periodic smear campaigns and attempts to force Mr. Dehlin to prove his innocence must be financed by higher ups as alluded to earlier in this thread. The only way you can satisfy this accusation, Rosebud, is to disclose to this board the past 4 years of all of your financial accounts and tax returns so that we may examine them and so that you may remove the implied guilt I just foisted onto you. Or show us your medical records regarding your prescriptions.

It is my opinion that you are so relentless over a silly supposed relationship that you supposedly had with Mr. Dehlin that the only rational conclusion is that either you periodically forget to restock your prescriptions or you are paid by some entity to cause Mr. Dehlin some heartache. Please come forward with your financial documents so that you may be examined by this tribunal of your fellow posters.

Not sure why. It’s working for me. I took a screenshot but can’t upload it right now.

It’s the ad page for the event today. Has a link to register, etc. Maybe it’s in high demand because the event started at 9am Utah time.

Basically, it tells people to save the date for “the first annual Thrive day 2019” and makes sure everybody knows that John is going to be there with the ex-Mo from Imagine Dragons and some other people.

I, for one, am sick and tired of these non-stop attacks on John's character. He has done more for the ex-mo community than any person who is criticizing him on this board. Not only has he helped thousands through painful faith-transitions, but he has also been responsible for:

* exposing the anti-LGB child baptism policy and eventually forcing the Church to reverse course
* causing reform at the Maxwell institute. instead of a place for endless ad hominem attacks, the MI has become a place for serious intellectual discussion

Should I go on? I hope John is making $250k/year. It is deserved.

So you think Rosebud has been compromised by, or is a clandestine agent of, Kirton McConkie? That would explain the wig, trench coat, fake nose with glasses, and Ukrainian accent.
