The Church has an established pattern of hiding embarrassing stuff from the past.
But can you blame them? Most people do that. The term "CYA" doesn't exist for no reason. It's a human thing.
Yes, I can certainly blame them and just because most people cover embarrassing stuff doesn't necessarily make it right. Hiding embarrassing stuff from others in order to maintain a different image in order to achieve certain results from others may be human nature but it doesn't reflect higher values of integrity and honestly. I expect better from a church! I expect better from people who say they represent God! And, I should think you would too, bill.
It's my understanding that Mormonism in general is all about lying and creating false impressions in order to defend a retched and rotten religion, such as it is. The Book of Mormon talks about "slippery treasures" which was something Joseph Smith was familiar with and even took part in trying to recover such treasures. What does the Church today have to say about that? You see, the Church of Russell Nelson is nothing more than a two-bit whore and he is the grand pimp.
I expect better from a church! I expect better from people who say they represent God!
Sorry to say, given history and human nature, I think that's a very misplaced expectation.

Rivendale,
I appreciate the content of what you expressed in the above post last year in "Mormon at ages 11, 15, 24 is really Joseph Smith Jr., in disguise!", but it was somewhat of a derail so I did not comment.
I've taken the liberty to transport your post here in this thread where it belongs. Do you have anything else to add?
Thanks
It was a while back. Let me look into my sources on this.

Thank you for posting the above reference. Kishkumen recently posted about Dr. Literski and appeared in that video while commenting.
In this thread, regrettably for me, both Kishkumen and Philo Sofee have refused to comment about my opinion of the three little circles. Although I found that to be somewhat disappointing and left wanting, I really don't care much anymore. I've simply moved on...
