I can't wait to see how you try to weasel your way out of this huge lie you've tangled yourself into
Conference Broadcasts https://share.google/vQdQWbQ7Y6qtQx37l

Once more, it seems you are either lacking in understanding or being dishonest, as you cannot accept that you are mistaken. Not just incorrect, but completely mistaken. This link is from the official church website, stating that the first satellite broadcasts of general conference took place on Sunday, April 9, 1967, and were audio only. And here's the amusing part, as it clarifies why I have such a vivid recollection of that day in 1975. The inaugural satellite audio and video broadcast of general conference took place on Friday, October 3, 1975, coinciding perfectly with the day Kimball delivered the talk I have been discussing!

Once more, it signifies that I win and you lose! Admit that you were mistaken, fibber!

This just gets worse and worse for you.

You drove your son to a chapel in 1975 located at an army base in the Pacific? You must have because according to your link, only some bases in the Pacific (through special arrangement of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Network) received this broadcast.
Through special arrangements of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Network, the Friday morning session was televised to bases of the U.S. Armed Forces throughout the Pacific.

Perhaps Hound lived overseas, or drove to an Armed Forces base in the Pacific.

HoundDogMike's scrambling to get AI help and it's failing him across multiple levels.

...I took the time to locate the talk, and as it turns out, it was from 1975 and titled "The Privilege of Holding the Priesthood". This Priesthood session ...
But now, doggieMike says that this Saturday evening priesthood session took place on a Friday?
...Friday, October 3, 1975, coinciding perfectly with the day Kimball delivered the talk...
Not to mention that 85 year old HoundDogMike is bragging about a talk he imagines he heard that started like this:
Brethren, it is a great thrill to think that we are part of a congregation of 225,000 men and boys. Some of you are a little darker, some of you have slant eyes, but you are all men...
wtf.

I anticipated that you wouldn't acknowledge your mistake, as progressives often struggle with that.

It genuinely made me laugh when I looked up the information, and the exact day in 1975 that you claim I lied about is noted on the church website as the first time it broadcast a general conference via satellite! It seems that this entire conversation we are having is designed to highlight your apparent ignorance.

I emerged victorious while you faced defeat, fibber!!

cautious with AI, as it can occasionally provide inaccurate information!

Yes. SWK truly believed that darker skin and less round eyes = inferior.
Brethren, it is a great thrill to think that we are part of a congregation of 225,000 men and boys. Some of you are a little darker, some of you have slant eyes, but you are all men and brethren, and we love you. We are grateful that you are associated with us tonight in this great meeting.
He’s clearly highlighting the darker skinned and less rounded eyed as being “less than” in a passive aggressive “welcome”. Abhorrent.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

You're looking for personal details about my life, and you're one of the moderators?

No, I'm not sharing any details about my life. You progressives are insane, and fibbers!

One only needs to return to page 18 of this thread to observe how this conversation began and read through to the present to see that among myself, Gadianton, and Wang Chung, I am the only one able to demonstrate that I was right! What adds to the uniqueness of this situation is that in my initial post, I mentioned being unclear on the specifics due to the time that has passed. However, after conducting thorough research, my posts are entirely accurate, while Wang Chung demonstrates an inability to utilize the internet for research!

Your progressive friends were mistaken; it's time to accept that reality!

Wow. After providing personal details galore, the Hound of Mike gets caught in multiple lies and suddenly decides personal details are off limits.

Everybody Wang Chung, we have a new fibber in town: HoundDogMike.
