Well, I think that is was pretty low of Juliann to take a cheap shot at Liz like that, after Liz has been banned over there, and she can't respond to Juliann over there because she is banned over there.

When she posts something on MAD like the OP in question, the number of guests viewing this board swells significantly. I say, post the truth here so they can read it.

What I find interesting is that one of the posters thought coggins7 was female and charity made a remark about people on this board or RFM criticizing people for defending the faith.

Do they read coggins7's posts? He often writes in one of the most biting styles I've ever seen...while defending the faith.

At least he can drive it home here without being banned.

Frankly, the whole nastiness of Juliann's post, and her offering to "tell people the real deal via PM" shows her insecurity and immaturity.

Oh...and, Moksha....the "secret decoder ring" is actually a very cool MP3 transmitter which I've given to Bond for safe keeping. He's taking it to Q for further updates. ;)

Let me go on record in this thread, however, of saying that I never begged to be a Mod. That is an out and out lie, and Juliann knows it. When the board had that huge crash, I noticed that they were using a SQL server. Since I have programming experience in SQL, I emailed Juliann, and asked if there was anything I could do that might help get the board online. She told me she would let me know. A couple of months later, she and I were talking via email, and she mentioned that they would be switching servers. I did tell her that I would be interested in helping, if they still needed it, and she invited me to come on board as a site administrator.

I hardly think this could be termed as begging.

If anyone wants to hear more details about my side of the story, you're welcome to "PM me for more details."

In re-reading Juliann's latest slam on me, I must admit, there are a couple of points I find amusing. First of all, my comments must have struck a nerve with her to actually go through the trouble of creating an entire thread dealing with these issues...on a board that supposedly has no interest in creating board wars. ;)

Second, she basically proved my point. Here she is, a leader, a pundit, on the MAD board, going into a rant and actually creating an entire thread that was designed solely to trash RfM and MDB.

Third, note her statement which I bolded. "Not much former mods can do to me now." What "former mods" is she threatened by? Me? I've never threatened to "do anything to her". This also leads me to believe that her attitude and her saving former thread conversations must not be held in very high esteem by other prior mods. I have not spoken to Juliann via email since my banning from FAIR, so I'm really not sure what she's driving at with this statement.

Oh, well....Juliann is Juliann, I suppose. It's really sad to see what a venomous person she has spiralled into being. I certainly hope that this is only her online persona. I would hate to think that anyone could be that bitchy in real life.

Can you imagine the consternation this may have caused some people over there to learn Juliann keeps her emails. It was this practice that caused Microsoft so much legal trouble to actually have an electronic paper trail of their misdeeds. I imagine some fellow FAIR/MAD people will now be more cautious what information they share with Juliann for fear that they too may someday also cross her.

I really think that participating too much on these sort of boards isn't helpful. The MADdites recognize that reality in terms of RFM, and I think they're right, but perhaps the MADdites also need to consider that too much MAD can make one, well, mad. Bob McCue posted some good information on RFM about venting and anger and how it helps in moderation. But too much can be personally poisonous. I think too much debate and contention with the "opposition" can be personally poisonous, too, and have set a goal to pull back on it quite a bit.

That's about as cheesy as it gets, Juliann. So what you're saying is that you keep old posts and perhaps PM's in some sort of dirt file to enable you to act as a one-woman gossip mongering machine? Wow, no life, eh?

Now about the portion of your comments that I posted, if no one was interested in this board why all the hoopla in banning MDB posters from MAD?

Do you spend your evenings googling up screen names to find out where strangers are posting and monitor what they're saying? That's kinda compulsive isn't it?
