Perhaps he's having difficulty finding anything other than "green jello" to rhyme with bordello. Just a thought.

Look, if God Himself can't get a song, why would you expect one? ;-)

I was thinking about these lyrics from an old Joy Division song:

And all God's angels beware
And all you judges beware
Sons of chance take good care
For all the people out there
I'm not afraid anymore

Runtu---dang I don't know how to classify you. So take your pick from these:

Baby, You're a Rich Man (Just a reminder)
Come Together (you seemed to be a mediator (or willing to find middle ground) on MAD)
Amazing Journey (You seem to have made quite a journey-LDS wise)
Here Comes The Sun (the eternal cheer up song...Tomorrows a new day)
I have more suggestions if you can't choose your song from these

Liz--Dang another tough one to peg.

(Bond makes it easy)
if Green eyes-Green Eyed Lady-Sugarloaf?
if blue eyes- Behind Blue Eyes--The Who
if brown eyes-Brown Eyed Girl--Van Morrison

Edit: While I'm at it:
Vegas Refugee=Viva Las Vegas (obviously, even though he's a refugee from Vegas-now I'm rethinking)
Shades=Here Comes the Sun (obviously)
Who Knows=something by The Who (obviously) not sure what--perhaps Eyesight To the Blind or The Real Me (good songs for people who left religion)
Jersey Girl=Born to Run (who else but The Boss for someone from Jersey)

I would also like to add the song "Losing My Religion" by REM to Coggins supposed ExMo Rock album for someone.

Just so you know, I too have quit MAD. You know, there's a lot of anger on this board, but the hatred there seems to be more at a gut level. I just got tired of it. Thanks for the nice song suggestions.

True that man. Man the critics are leaving in droves. Soon it will just be the Critical Triumvirate over there.

I thought of that one, actually, last night when I wrote the SCMC thing. To do that, I'd have to download the song and listen to it first because the only part I remember is the chorus. I can't even here the song as a whole in my head, so I didn't do it. I can downoad it of course, but it was never one of my favorites. I'm a big fan of retro eighties New Music, but that one never caught my fancy.

I'm not sure where to place Liz yet. Vegas is easy. Hey Stupid, by Alice Cooper.

On the other hand, maybe Vegas isn't stupid. Perhaps a better choice would just be I Wanna Be Sedated by The Ramones

Well, Bond, since I do have green eyes, I suppose this would have to be my choice of your suggestions:

if Green eyes-Green Eyed Lady-Sugarloaf?

You are so superficial, Bond...thinking only of the physical...how "Bond-like" of you. LOL Still, I am a "Bond girl", so of course, I'm drawn to you nonetheless. ;)

I would still be curious as to Coggins' song choice. I think it's interesting that I have him stumped....He doesn't know whether to like me or not. I'm a free-thinker and not a typical tow the line TBM, but I do still have a bare-bones testimony of the gospel of Christ. Decisions...decisions... ;)
