It's called "why are you here... critics say its' because you can't hack it anywhere else".

My simple question, yet unanswered: if all believers wanted was a fairly moderated board with no foul language or temple talk allowed, what in the world was wrong with Z?

Yet something was very, very wrong with Z. They fled in a mass exodus.

Their explanations so far have yet to address this point.

Hello Sputty boy

You remember me???

I doubt I think you are well a little weird and not so smart, I can tell by your use of verbs and spelling and the other stuff.
Sputty you just mad at a few of us here for calling him less than smart....now I am not coming right out and saying dumb just less than smart.........Is there a difference....?????

Love when we get under your skin....darn now I am going to have to go look at MAD now.....
When I wake up I will be hungry....but this feels so good right now aaahhhhhh........

We are a hate sight wrapped up in ribbons.....I wonder what color of ribbons and how many ribbons what kind of ribbons.
I actually like ribbons, I love packages that come wrapped in ribbons especially packages that comes from Tiffany's
So you see being a hate sight wrapped in ribbons is not a bad thing. We have good things inside.

Looks like the thread has been re-opened. From Chaos:

The Committee has met (we even pulled in Dunamis and Oreos) and we hashed this out for days. We have decided (after much lecturing of junior moderators ) to re-open this thread.

I have, however, unilaterally decided to delete the most recent off-topic posts. Please all future posts on-topic.

Thanks,
Chaos

Interesting commentary from Chaos. Wonder what that all means?

Hmmm...I haven't looked at MAD today. Have they deleted Juliann's post where she trashed me?

Well, the last comments you quoted by Chaos are a direct take off to Liz's descriptions of moderation by committee on FAIR when she was there.

Am I the only one who notices these things?

Interestingly, before the post took on the name "Chaos," a similar post from "Jan" occupied its spot.

I know, mentioning this means I'm obsessed with MAD, too.

Oh yeah - duh. I was reading it in context of the previous moderator comment, and noticed only that it seemed a bit bitchy. But yeah, that's the connection. Duh again. Been a long day - I guess I'm a bit slow tonight.

That was precisely the sort of curiosity which led me to believe that "Orpheus" was Scott "Scottie Dog" Lloyd. My guess is that they are switching mod identities due to our speculations. I had been fairly certain that "Argos" was actually Jan, but "Chaos" seems equally plausible, I suppose. by the way: if "Oreos" is still a mod, this person is, I'm quite certain, SlackTime.

When I saw the thread was re-opened I was heartened. But then people just started attacking again. It's no use, we seem incapable of having a civil conversation.

Sput stated he did not want us discussing ZLMB on his thread, so I thought I'd ask my questions here;

Beastie, I did not realize you had been a mod on ZLMB. I was never a participant there, but I've read some comments regarding it. It sounds like ZLMB used to be the place that quite of few of you hung out on, but then there was a mass exodus over to FAIR. I get the impression that you believe Juliann was the instigator of this exodus. I also assume that ZLMB never recovered and then, when you all tried to continue discussions as had been done on ZLMB, at FAIR, things were run differently, with much stricter moderation and many critics ended up being banned. If this is the case, I'm beginning to understand why there is so much animosity directed at the FAIR crowd of LDS posters.

I've visited ZLMB a couple of times, but not much is going on there. If it had been a thriving board at one time, it isn't now.
