If GBH died tonight, their would be rejoicing among some on this board; rhetorical dancing upon his grave, and there would be no wagging fingers of moral outrage pointed.

Pathetic indeed Runtu, pathatic indeed.

Coggins has a point, kind of. Were GBH to pass on today, I wouldn't necessarily be dancing or rejoicing, but it would register only a few micro give-a-sh*** on my give-a-sh** meter.

I see him as a confused, grandfatherly old man; well intentioned, but seriously deluded into thinking that he has some super-duper special pipeline to God, and the perpetuator extraordinaire of a huge fraud on some millions of humanity. I consider him a cypher in the grand scheme of things, and his passing won't even register a miliblip in the footnote of human history.

So, I won't get offended when people like Coggins can't get too worked up about Kathy Worthington passing on.

Unlike Coggins, I appreciate what Kathy has done. Helping hundreds, if not thousands, free themselves from the material, emotion, spirtual, and administrative tentacles of a cult is something worth celebrating; more so I think than being the Grand Poobah of said cult.
For cult members like ASSLAM and Coggy, Kathy has been the cause of the decline of membership and thereby a reduction in tithes... then again I doubt a hypocrite like Coggy was ever a full tithe payer.. I have doubts about ASSLAM as well.

Your in for a rude awakening when you are relegated to your next life as a horsefly.
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

I wish to encourage any and all LDS who do not believe and who are unwilling to try and believe to be honest with themselves and their families and resign from the Church.

I don't think it matters much, does it? I'm honest with myself and my family, and yet I haven't resigned. I would resign, but my wife has said that's a deal-breaker and she would divorce me.

I really have to get out of here. I've seen some offensive stuff in my time, but this thread takes the cake. I once thought I could do some good and encourage kindness and civility. But I was wrong.

Apparently, you would prefer that I break up my family for the sake of honesty.

You are reading between the lines something that isn't there. I would say your wife is also being just as dishonest if all I had to go one was your deal-breaker statement.

I dint mean it as a cheap shot. The woman still exists, "Intelligence was not created nor made, neither indeed can be." and three days after her death a family member will come to collect her and will escort her into the Spirit World. It will be then that she sees how things really are, and will realize that Joseph Smith was the Prophet of the Restoration.

Sorry if anyone took offence.

How many here think Kathy has already had an interview with The Man In The Red Suit? Gaz?

Not possible in LDS theology. That can only happen after the resurrection and iff she is a 'daughter of Perdition'.
