Before scolding others for their stupidity, it would behoove you to pay a modicum of attention to the statements made on this thread. I am the one who stated that it appeared some of the trollish posts had been designed to look as if Kerry were the author, not Jersey Girl or Ms. Nobody.
At any rate, until Jersey Girl brought this back up I hadn't thought about it in months. Other than for Jersey Girl's desire to publicly apologize to Kerry for her suspicions, I would be surprised to see the topic at all.
I have no idea who the trolls were, nor do I care. There are plenty of characters who could fit the bill, as far as I'm concerned. Certain entries on Itchy's blog sounded very much like Juliann or possibly Confidential Informant, but I have no idea if they were involved, and don't care. What I found objectionable about the whole episode was Itchy's deliberate exposure of a poster who had absolutely nothing to do with the Scratch's blog. Whoever engaged in that particular behavior is a malicious individual who used the episode as an excuse to attack someone for whom they had carried a long grudge - a grudge that had nothing to do with Scratch or his blog.

The purpose of this thread was to put to rest a controversy, not to begin yet another chapter. I'm asking you to respect the spirit of this thread. Some one was wronged by me, this was my admission of error and my apology. I'm not posting information on this board about what I did or how I went about it. This is an apology, not a chance for folks to pump me for information.
And I think that was a stand up thing to do.

OK, but I thought between you and Ms Nobody that you were now making the assumption that some nebulous group of "others" tried to make it look like it was Kerry - so people here would think Itchy or the Z trolls were Kerry. I'm trying to make the point that you may be making another wrong assumption. What if it was just some non-Kerry person(s) doing this mischief and you and others first made the wrong assumption that it was Kerry (a friend, no less) and now are making another wrong assumption that someone was trying to make it look like Kerry. Why? Think about it. It says something about the thinking that was done, the betraying of a friend, and now the rationalization ("it was someone making us think it was Kerry) being done as defense mechanisms against what you really did.
I still respect your public apology and am just responding to the insinuation that someone was trying to make it look like Kerry and that is why you all "fell for it." What if it wasn't? What does it say about each of you for making both of these assumptions (if they are wrong).
