I do realize that. I also realise that he feels I am in error and that is that, the thinking has been done and there is nothing more to do than confirm.
It was an interview, plain and simple. He directed the conversation, I let him and at every turn I laid out my case. I've had 2 years to outline my answers to the temple questions, which is what he asked about. I busied myself with asking his opinion on matters and then responding with a statement of fact backed u by (gasp) other statements of fact and why this information is pertinent. I then took teh subject matter and broke it down into its respective parts. Instances of faith and testimony were relegated to the last part of our discussion. This involved a need for facts of the matters surrounding joseph smiths claims.
It ended cordially, there was no shouting and we smiled and agreed with each other on many things but for different reasons. Others we totally disagreed on such as the afterlife promised by a con man.
